Thinking about traveling

Travel can provide necessary leisure and recreation,
which was my major in university. Most Taiwanese have
to work long hours but don’t know how to relax and
revitalize themselves. Travel is the best way to relax for
me, and it is not only sight seeing but also learning for
me. Why it is so important?





















“Seeing is believing”, that’s what people say. If you
want to make your foreign restaurant authentic, you have
to “see” in that country. What is the theme and the
concept? My restaurant serves European cuisine, and that
means I have to know about what Europeans eat, and
more. How would they run a restaurant? How do they
spend their liesure time?

I went to Germany 4 times, and I learned how they
cook ‘Pork Knuckle.’ Also learned how to cook pasta
because I went to Italy as well. At my restaurant, we sell
wine and sparkling water, because we know those are
important for Europeans.




























Now I want to add a new item to the menu: ‘Gelato’ as
it’s called in Italy. I have to know why there are so many
‘Gelato’ shop on the streets of Italy. I also feel the need
to update my knowledge of pasta. It seems a good reason
to travel in Italy.

Traveling in Italy is not only about my business. I can
stay in a grand hotel, which used to be a castle, and see
how Italian live today and in days gone by. Of course,
there are also so many great sights I won’t forget.
